Eliminating violence against women who use drugs

Women and gender-diverse people who use drugs face disproportionately high levels of gender-based violence, an issue that is compounded by drug-related stigma and criminalisation. The Woman and Harm Reduction International Network (WHRIN) has developed a toolkit to help your organisation bring attention to these ever-pressing issues.

November 25th marks the International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women, which will kick off 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence until December 10, which is International Human Rights Day. In light of this, WHRIN have developed a campaign toolkit to help you and your organisation join the global campaign to end violence against women who use drugs. It has a poster and press release that you can use for your campaign, but your organisation can also apply for a grant to support your campaign.

The Woman and Harm Reduction International Network seek to improve the availability of harm reduction services for women and gender diverse people who use drugs. It not only has a poster and press release that you can use for your campaign, but your organisation can also apply for a grant to support your campaign. You will find the toolkit here.
