Mainline’s newest project: Buddy Me

Mainline is launching a new project for men who have stopped with chemsex for a while and are looking for support as they build a new chapter in their lives.

Buddy Me connects volunteer buddies with men who have been chemsex-free for at least three months and live in Amsterdam. Pairs meet regularly for social activities –whether it’s grabbing coffee, visiting a museum, or simply spending time together.

One of the biggest challenges after quitting chemsex is learning to reconnect with others and find joy in everyday life. Meeting new people and discovering pleasure in simple activities can feel daunting, especially when social circles have shifted or diminished.
