Zimbabwe’s First National Harm Reduction Manual

Mainline has been working with the National AIDS Council of Zimbabwe to write the first National Harm Reduction Manual for the country.

People who use drugs, civil society organisations and government representatives have provided input for the document, that prescribes a package of essential services as well as potential additional services to be implemented for and with people who use and inject drugs.

The document is complemented with a SOP (standard operating procedures) for needle and syringe programming (NSP) and a set of data collection tools for (future) harm reduction programmes. As soon as the document has been validated, you will find it on our website.
